Dreaming of Swedish Summer

 

There is something so special about Swedish summer. There’s a certain magic about long summer days, and bright summer nights, that’s different in every culture. Do you know what I mean?

Here are a few things that make Swedish summers dreamy:

1. Outdoor “fika” - or coffee and cakes!

2. Midsommar gatherings - singing, dancing, eating and drinking for the longest day of the year

3. Spending the whole summer seaside - on a boat, on a quay, in the water, having an ice cream, sunbathing, or eating

4. Berry cakes! Traditionally the Swedish summer cake is with strawberries, however any berry cake is welcome!
