I stumbled across English TV-presenter Laura Jackson’s home reno on instagram a while back, and since then, her cozy classically-British home is everywhere! Laura’s London home is amazing: warm, personal, and classic.
Something I really appreciated about her home goals was that she said she wanted to create a timeless forever-home for her children to grow up in. Building a timeless home means it can grow and develop, as well as transcend the decades. Home, indeed!
Things I love about Laura’s choices:
Always classic, always nature-focused William Morris wallpaper
A bit of chintz! It is a British house, after all!
Refreshing use of white tiles - honey comb + mini flowers, and vertical subway
Antique finds! The hunt for, and the results, like the Dutch wooden cupboard in her bathroom
The bold use of colour! Is it just me, or many people are afraid to put colour on their walls?
