Sweet Countryside Mood
Country style can also be modern! In this Sweet Countryside project by me, follow the development of style, feeling, and space. For this house renovation, the fictional client was a couple with two teenage daughters, and a bright newly-built open-plan house.
Key ideas to hang onto throughout the project became: sweet, country, natural, creative and fresh, with pink tones.
It’s a modern take on country, combining traditional floral wallpapers with contemporary geometric tiles. Using a mood board to visually communicate the vision, you can see natural textures like wood, sheepskin, rattan and linen to echo nature. Sweet pink tones balanced with natural beiges and browns.
