A Fresh Open Living Space in the Marais

This Parisian apartment, in the heart of the stylish Marais neighbourhood, has such a welcoming and airy open living room-kitchen space. It’s a traditional Parisian apartment, with a gorgeous fireplace, mantel, and bookshelves.

I created a fresh and cosy feel in the space, working with colour and texture. I complemented the Farrow and Ball Elephant’s Breath purplish grey wall colour with lots of whites, beiges, and grey-tones. Touches of blue and red add depth and personality to the room, whilst black details bring a contemporary feel. To bring added cosiness, I love to embrace natural textures. In this case, I styled natural wooden and woven details, as well as dried flowers.
