Autumn at The Rectory Hotel Cotswolds

I love a visit to the English countryside, and an autumnal stay at The Rectory Hotel was such a treat! The hotel was packed with inspiration inside, as well on its grounds.

The room was airy, with modern lighting and framed prints, and cosy with a woollen blanket, kettle, and view onto the misty garden. In the evening, I sat by the crackling fireplace in the lounge with a hot tea. And, in the morning, I enjoyed a lovely breakfast buffet in the conservatory.

The overall feel of the hotel was so elegant. It was a beautifully restored building, embracing traditional English furniture, panelling, and décor. It was freshened up and felt relevant now, with contemporary textiles, wall colours and ceramics.

In the garden, the golden drying leaves, deep magenta flowers, and crisp hanging berries all added up to a cosy autumnal welcome.
