Charming Cheese Shop & Bistro on the Swedish West Coast

I stumbled upon this charming cheese shop and bistro, Le Comptoir, on the island of Marstrand, on the Swedish west coast. Its design is so lovely and fresh! It’s a blend of Scandinavian and continental styles.

The white-painted tongue-and-groove panelling, the woven counter base, the light wooden furniture and the windowsill details all felt so typically Swedish (especially Swedish-Summer vibes)! And, the silver champagne bucket, hanging wine glasses rack, black metal fridge units, and chalk boards could easily be seen also in France, Belgium or the Netherlands.

All that said on the design, the cheese dishes were delicious, and worth returning to!
