Choosing Tiles for the Austin House Laundry Room
The laundry room in the Austin House is going to be also the entry point to the house from the garage. Not just for doing laundry, it’ll be the place where you drag suitcases into the home and drop groceries onto the floor. So, it absolutely needed a sturdy floor.
These elongated rectangular stone tiles below are just the thing! Look at the texture on them already - they will only get more and more beautiful over time. And to make sure they have longevity, we’ve decided to place them in a traditional herringbone shape.
We’ll pair them with white shaker cabinets, and a highly textural grey stone countertop.
