Magical Snowy Christmas in London
We had a heavy snowfall in London this December, which is incredibly unusual. Despite it being concerning environmentally, one can’t ignore how magical snow is. The blanket of soft white highlights all of nature’s intricacies, such as on leaves and branches. Everything goes quiet and still, with any sound being dampened by the soft snow. It twinkles in the sunlight, and brightens the darkness. Walks that are familiar take on a whole new charming character, with the snow.
Equally, spending time indoors becomes extra cosy, with outdoor views being snow-coated. Warming up under blankets with fresh coffee, and filling the home with the comforting scents of pine tree and freshly baked bread. Lussekatter, special Swedish Christmas saffron buns, are a tradition in my household, and we can’t get enough of them!
Tucked between the Marylebone Loft’s living room and kitchen, this dining area is compact.
